  1. NANDI HILLS 

 

Nandhi hills is one of the most commonly recommended places for a perfect morning outing from Bangalore which is located in Chikkaballapur where you can see a spectacular sunrise where you would feel that you are leaving above the clouds , with big rocks , with temples , a small park , a walk is a perfect place for recreation. You can travel up to the hill with your own vehicles or in the government vehicle. So don’t miss it.

Mysore is the cultural city of Karnataka where it has great history and culture. The famous Mysore emperors ruled here and now also they have been ruling . It’s a perfect place with friends, family as you have plenty of options like temples , food exploration, dams  , monuments, historical buildings, zoo , shopping and the main attraction is the Mysore palace, it’s one of the peaceful cities and also a clean city . 3.SHIVANASAMUDRA 

Shivanasamudra is the right place for those who are willing to get admired by seeing the waterfalls . This waterfall is located in the borders of Mandya district and Chamarajanagar district. The water source of this waterfall is the river Kaveri . The waterfall is divided into two major drops known as Gaganachukki and Barachukki waterfall. The Barachukki waterfall is located in the Kollegal taluk of Chamarajanagar and Gaganachukki waterfall in the malavalli taluk of Mandya district. By this waterfall the first hydroelectric power generation took place and even today also the generation of electricity is taking place . Near to this waterfall a famous mosque is there where usually muslims would visit oftenly . On the way you have many options of having fish which are very fresh and tasty so don’t miss it . Coorg the Scotland of India which is also known as the Kodagu district located in western ghats of Karnataka known for its lush greenery, coffee plantations, spices , waterfalls etc . It is one of the most recommended places for enjoying nature with your family, friends for staycation or exploration. The cool climate with misty fog and sometimes sizzling rain is a perfect place to chill. Coorg is around 250 kms from Bangalore.   1. SKANDAGIRI HILLS 

SKANDAGIRI HILLS is the perfect place for the trekking lovers where you can see the spectacular sunrise and a small temple. Skandagiri Hills is located in Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka is about 68 kms from Bangalore .The peak is at an altitude of 1350 meters . The trek is around 8 kms in both sides where the trek level is moderate to difficult level and it is the perfect place for the adventure lovers and enthusiasts so don’t miss it as you can escape from your stressful life . Chikmagalur is around 245 kms Bangalore for a two days or 3 days trip with cool weather, misty fog and rain with a hot coffee is a proper destination. Hogenakkal waterfall is usually referred to as Niagara falls of India as it is a stunning natural wonder which is renowned for breathtaking beauty. The sound of roaring water, combined with the mist that rises as the falls hit the rocks , creates an ethereal atmosphere.Hogenakkal waterfall is formed by the river Kaveri in the borders of Chamarajanagar district of Karnataka  and dharmapuri of Tamil Nadu. You have plenty of options to chill here as there are small boat rides with safety jackets . Can try authentic foods, especially fish which are catched there only. You even have the option of therapeutic natural water bathing. You even have the option of getting body massages . The distance from Bangalore is around 125 kms . My personal recommendation is if possible go on your bikes , this is an unforgettable adventure on the open road so don’t miss it . Boat ride prices may vary from season to season and may be an average around 1200 – 1500 rs and parking charges are applicable.

  1. MANDARAGIRI HILLS 

Mandargiri hills is a hidden gem in Karnataka which offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and spiritual tranquility located in the Tumkur district of Karnataka. The Mandargiri temple complex is an important Jain pilgrimage center. There’s even a statue of Shravanabelagola . The temple is one of the unique sculptures a must visit place. Next to that one small mountain is there with the steps so easily accessible to the peak where in the peak artificial tree is there and you can see the beautiful Tumkur city from here . Behind this mountain there is a water body and surrounded by the green  mountains is a perfect place. If you are planning for a picnic with your family or family then this is one of the best suitable places. Big Banyan tree is also known as Dodda aaladha mara in local language Kannada is a 400 years old Banyan tree located in the kethohalli village of Bangalore district. The single tree covers 3 acres of land and is one of the heritage trees. It is around 17 kms from Bangalore offers a short trip or short ride where you can chill for sometime from your busy life

Savandurga stands as Asia’s  larges monolith, offering a mesmerizing escape into nature grandeur. This is one of the places that draw attention to trek lovers , nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts , providing panoramic views . The hill is around 1226 m from the sea level.The hill looks imposing as one drives closer to it and it is easy to understand why it is called the ‘rock of death.’ The Nandi Mantap looks like a small square on top and all visible sides of the rock look steep and dangerous; only upon reaching the base does one see the rock’s gentle slopes. Around two temples are there and the beautiful flowing of the Arkavathi river can be seen  . It is around 47 kms from Bangalore.
